Bet of the Day 19/03/16

Port Vale to win at home v Burton at around 15/8

A touch under 2-1 could be too big here. Vale are still in a fight for a playoff spot and are in decent form. Burton’s away form is nothing to shout about lately and the clear leaders seem to have taken their foot off the gas.

Sunday Treble

Sunday Treble @ 12.02

Valencia 6/4 won last two on the road against rock bottom Levante

Genoa 8/5 won last two at home entertain a Torino team who haven’t impressed of late

Roma 17/20 in sensational form both home & away should be too strong for Udinese

Bet Of The Day

SC Bastia look a great price @ 12/5 currently 2nd in the form table to PSG. Last time out they clearly dominated proceeding against Lorient & winning 3 of last 4 without conceding 12/5 looks big.

The opposition Lille despite decent home form are not great travelers, last time on the road a 3 nil defeat to Montpellier.

Saturday Treble

Saturday Treble @ 12.62

Burnley 7/4 in fine form looking to go 7 clear v Huddersfield who struggle against teams in top half

Bradford 10/11 to beat a Doncaster team without a win since the start of the year.

Barnet 29/20 have decent away form up against York City lost last 5

Sunday Treble

Away Treble @ 7.81

Liverpool 11/10 to follow up 6 @ Villa & 3 against City with victory over out of form Palace

Atletico Madrid 19/20 should be too strong for improving Valencia expecting away win to nil

Athletic Bilbao 10/11 chasing European football next season & should take all 3pts away @ Sporting Gijon

Saturday Treble at about 23/1

Bury, Fleetwood and Altrincham all to win at home.

Bury to follow up decent home win last time out with victory against Bradford who were humbled at home last weekend.

Fleetwood wins last two to beat Sheff Utd who arrive after 2 defeats.

Altrincham to beat Macclesfield. Bet of the day at bout 2/1.

Good luck

Bet of the Day 5th March

Altrincham to win at home to Macclesfield at about 2/1

The recent form of these two makes sorry reading….

but on balance Altrincham have the pick of the recent form and at 2/1 to win at home look value. A thrashing by Chester then a draw against Guiseley (both at home) hardly looks convincing but the stats suggest that they dominated Guiseley and had responded to the Chester result. Less convincing is Macclesfield’s last result against lowly Torquay.

The home team are stuck in a fight for relagation and arguably have more to play for than the visitors.

Good luck.

Bet of the Day – Sunday 28th Feb

Valencia to beat Athletic Bilbao at around 5/4

Has been difficult chosing bet of the day today. Frosinone, Mainz and Agaccio all look interesting at big prices and Bologna to win away look to have every chance. In the end have erred on the side of caution and gone for Valencia.

In between running riot in the Europa League Gary Neville has finally got his side winning in La Liga. They have won the last two (albeit against lowly opposition) while Bilbao have lost their last two, last time at home against Basque rivals Sociedad.

Both have plenty to play for in the fight for European football but I rekon Valencia will be too strong today.

Good Luck.
